i believe whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you....stranger

my current obsession.

aside from being surrounded by an unusual number of younger high school girls who would constantly giggle every time heath ledger appeared on the screen (seriously?!), i thoroughly enjoyed this movie all the way.

oh man.
how can a movie be THAT kick ass?!

because....why not?

i have re-fallen in love with the music of Kate Nash. Her song "Birds" will forever be my favorite.
it's hilarious and weird but just down right cute.

SO i've never lived alone. but this summer, while i do live with my aunt, it is very close to living by myself. our schedules are usually the opposite and she travels a lot for her job. so while we occasionally get to spend an evening or two together each week more often than not i am by myself.
but im okay with this.
after last winter break when i had the apartment to myself for a good week or two i came to enjoy the idea of living by myself. there were many reasons why being in that apartment with no roommates around was a beautiful thing....but the number one reason i came to find during that time and now as to why having a place to yourself is great is:

pants are optional.

im a huge fan of this. ultimate comfort right there my friends.
straight up.

I suppose this is worth a shot or two....or ten.

So here I am.
Blogging.
I told myself I would only sign up for an account so I could harrass Wetzel while she is off being an Oxford student.
However, everytime I come across my sad blank page I feel the need to fill it with posts.

But it seems as if I have missed out on the trend of this summer and did not plan a trip abroad. So, you can count me out on the travel blogs filled with fun and exciting im-traveling-abroad experiences. (I'm just jealous).
Instead, I packed up my things and moved to the wonderful land of Olathe and spend my days playing with small children and the occassional night trying to stay sane at that one place I have grown to dislike a great deal.
If it weren't for my Aunt and I sharing the same sense of humor and laughing all night long over sonic commercials and trashy reality TV or for Corey's ability to put up with me for hours doing nothing but watch a movie or two, I'm not sure I could handle this summer.
In conclusion, I wish I would have made the irresponsible choice of spending too much money on traveling.

I'll be able to enjoy the comfort of Lawrence again soon enough though.

Happy 4th of July! Have fun dropping tons of money on something that will explode in a matter of seconds. Be safe, if not, try to blow off something insignificant like a finger or toe rather than something like your eye.
I'm just saying....
